Seeing..my bright painted teapot and abundant sunflowers.
Smelling.. cold weather and dying leaves. Spicy tea and woodsmoke.
Tasting..cream cheese, smoked salmon, dill, capers and egg. The best omelette ever!
Listening.. to
a woman named Rosaria Butterfield talk about her life before conversion, her book, and her passion for hospitality. It's an interesting interview.
Grateful...for a rare nap, for the time of quiet, and for a bright, clear day.
Reading.. The Smitten Kitchen cookbook!!! Oh my goodness this woman is amazing, and she has a blog too!
Loving..the three volunteer pumpkins growing large in our back garden. They look so perfect! I can't wait to see them turn all pumpkin-y orange.
Hoping..for consistency, and an evening of tea and Parcheesi.
Yay, you're back!!
ReplyDeleteI have been a terrible shirker regarding my own September plans. Maybe I can do better henceforth, now that it's likely to be raining from here to April. Maybe...
Parcheesi, eh? Have you seen " Paris When It Sizzles....." ? I love how autumn seems to seep through your today post! It's so fresh and crisp! I want a cider now....
